About Marking Time

My name is Mark and I am an engineer with a passion for quality repairs and improvements. Over my 20+ years of experience in troubleshooting and repair of complex electronic and mechanical systems I discovered a blend of this passion with my fascination and love of these little devices we wear to measure time. I have taken all of my focus and passions and placed them into my love of watches.

Marking Time is a play on words from my time in the miliary where to "mark time" is to march in place, as well as incorporating my name. While the world around us is racing forward at an increasingly rapid pace, the admittedly outdated nature of a watch today helps to remind us to slow down and take in what matters.

With a deep focus on the sentimental value and irreplaceable memories a watch can carry with it, I treat every watch as a priceless treasure and give it the care and attention necessary to ensure it remains a faithful keeper of those memories and functions for years to come.
